Privacy Policy

PilotAlpha is operated by Mathonyx GmbH ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Data We Collect

When you create an account and use PilotAlpha, we collect:

• Account data: Your name and email address, provided at registration or via Sign in with Apple.
• Authentication tokens: Secure session tokens stored in your device's Keychain. We do not store passwords in plain text.
• Trading goal: Your target return, target date, capital amount, and risk profile.
• Portfolio data: Open positions, trade executions, and cash balance associated with your account.
• Device token: Your APNs push notification token, used solely to send you trade notifications.
• Usage data: Trading cycle logs, AI decisions, and email delivery records for your account history.

We do not collect location data, contacts, camera or microphone access, or any data unrelated to the trading functionality.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the PilotAlpha service:

• Authenticating your account and securing access
• Running AI trading cycles and generating decisions based on your goal and portfolio
• Sending trade reports and notifications to you
• Displaying your portfolio and activity history in the app
• Providing customer support when you contact us

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service.

3. AI Processing

PilotAlpha uses advanced AI to analyse markets and generate trading decisions. During each cycle, your portfolio composition (positions, quantities, prices) and your goal parameters are included in the analysis. Your name and email address are never included in data sent to the AI system.

4. Data Storage

All user data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland), within the European Economic Area. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use AWS RDS for database storage and standard AWS security practices.

5. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your APNs device token is stored on our servers and used to deliver trade notifications via Apple's Push Notification service (APNs). You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Sign in with Apple

If you register using Sign in with Apple, we receive your name (if shared) and a private relay email address or your real email, as provided by Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID password or any payment information.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the service:

• Amazon Web Services — infrastructure and database hosting (EU)
• AI processing provider — AI analysis (anonymised portfolio data only, no personal identifiers)
• Apple Inc. — push notification delivery via APNs

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8. Analytics and Tracking

PilotAlpha contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no cookies. We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account). When you delete your account, all personal data (name, email, tokens), trading goals, cycle history, and trade records are permanently deleted immediately. No data is retained after deletion.

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your data
• Restriction: Request we restrict processing of your data

11. Children

PilotAlpha is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of PilotAlpha after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
